The Alderman welcomed the attendees to the annual meeting, at Skovhytten, with a glass of white wine.
The Alderman presented the day’s program, which began with an exciting and inspiring presentation from Rane Willerslev, who described how he has become who he is and how he uses his skills to transform the leadership of the Danish National Museum.

After Rane Willerslev’s presentation, the Alderman, the vice-chairman, and the chairman presented the fundraising for the Public gift, which Harald Bluetooth Guild has taken the initiative to, namely a bridge over the moat to The Reconstructed Castle.
We call the fundraising “We are building a bridge to the past.”
After the presentation, Rane Willerslev encouraged all of us to contribute to the Public gift.
It is important for our area, and for our population and its successors, that we have this huge attraction. It also supports UNESCO’s requirements for local support for the Ring Fortresses.
Next, it was time for the actual Guild Assembly, according to the statutes of the Guild.
The Alderman appointed deputy chairman Svend-Erik Kristensen to lead the Guild Assembly.
Svend-Erik noted that the assembly was legally convened and immediately gave the floor to the chairman Jens Grønkjær, who was responsible for Report on the past year, including membership status.
The Guild assembly had an attendance of 70 members, including the members of the guild board. Since the last guild assembly, we have admitted 56 new members, bringing us to about 300 members from 38 different countries, who have all agreed to promote knowledge about Trelleborg, the Viking Age, and West Zealand.
